Chandler will be teaching the basics of dryland or off-ice training including:

  • running programs
  • biking programs
  • agility & balance
  • warming up
  • stretching
  • nutrition & fueling
  • training journals

This program is for all competitive athlete levels.  No previous experience is required.

Please email hamptonssc@gmail.com if you are interested in participating and wish to be on the email list.

The track

At the beginning of every season a dedicated crew of parents from the club spend approximately 2 hrs measuring, marking, drilling and placing paint into the ice to create a dotted track. The dots are used to mark the track in which the skaters must skate around. There are three track sizes 85m, 100m, and 111.12m.
